Plastika invested into new measuring equipment which will facilitate and speed up measuring processes within production facilities and will also introduce objective measurement. This overcomes the possibility of distorted results. The new equipment uses contactless measuring with optical evaluation, i.e. the measuring instrument does not come in contact with the product, no thrust force is applied on the product, and the shape of the measured moulded product is not deformed.

Measurement is automatic; the measuring equipment will be handled by injection press operators. All measured data will be evaluated by means of a special program and plotted into the SPC graph. We expect a more accurate and faster measurement of higher quality and also better registration. Operators needn't bother about plotting values into tables and graphs. New measurement technology will be phased in with, automotive industry products receiving priority.
