Logistic Centre

Last year PLASTIKA a.s. founded its' Logistic centre specifically for keyboards purchased in Asia. This project met the demands of Fujitsu Siemens Computers with whom we share a long-term partnership.

The Logistic Centre stores, prints (laser printing and pad printing) and assembles keyboards which are subsequently introduced to the supply chain in accordance with customer requirements. In 2005 two thirds of all keyboards shipper were printed in Plastika, in more than 30 language configurations. With sales from the Logistic Centre exceeded CZK 210 million.

Due to the ever-growing volumes of processed keyboards, further production premises were opened for operation in December 2005 to house new laser-printing lines and a workstation specifically for input control of purchased keyboards. In terms of equipment, facilities and technologies used, this workstation complies with demanding requirements of computer industry.

In 2006 the Logistic Centre should achieve sales in excess of CZK 280 million for keyboards and accessories. Together with this confirmed business, we are pleased to offer our logistic service to other customers in a spirit of mutual co-operation.
