Japanese Entrepreneurs Visit Plastika VD

Czech Republic was visited by a group of 45 representatives of Japanese companies last week, eager to see the current state and potential of Czech manufacturers in order to consider prospective investments or business collaboration in the Czech Republic.

Apart from Škoda Auto, a. s. and Aero Vodochody, a. s., the delegation visited the Kroměříž-based Plastika VD company, which provides services in the field of injection-moulded plastic parts from the design and production of moulds to injection moulding, assembly and printing. This includes mainly products for business machines for global companies like Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Flextronics International, Schneider Electric, Lexmark International, Siemens VDO, Faurecia, or Automotive Lighting.

Plastika VD is one of the leading Czech manufacturers of technical mouldings and assembly units. This year the company, which has 250 employees, is planning its profit to exceed CZK 560 million. The company's quality system was certified according to the ISO9001, ISO14001 and QS9000 standards and is ready to meet quality requirements of any customer.
