Appointment of the general and production directors

Board of Directors of the PLASTIKA a.s. company appointed Ing. Jan Pýcha general director and Ing. Michal Novotný production director. PLASTIKA a.s. showed record revenues of nearly 700 mil. CZK in the year 2005 and anticipates further growth this year.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Ing. Michal Nosek commented on the changes:

Production quality and productivity are the key parameters of the company operation nowadays, and the company target is to strengthen its position on the regional market. In the course of the coming two years we want to exceed the turnover of 1 billion CZK in the main branch of business. Great effort and a top and competent team are needed to achieve this. Apart from the main branch of business, i.e. the pressure injection molding of plastics, we will develop other complementary technologies and processes.

The company shareholders pursue the target of further company growth and enhancements in competency of the management team enabling fulfillment of demanding plans, especially in the area of production development for the automobile industry. The hitherto general director Ing. Sramek remains as a member of the board of directors with a special mandate for finance management and control.
