Mr. Stanislav Sramek appointed Company Managing Director

The PLASTIKA a.s. board of directors nominated Mr. Stanislav Sramek MBA to the post of the company managing director. Mr. Sramek has so far worked as the company's chairman of the supervisory board. Previously he worked as financial analyst at the Fond rizikového kapitálu s.r.o. and the financial director of Honda ČR and Total's Czech branch office.

The company's present managing director Mr. Miroslav Kundera who has managed the company from 1991 to 2004 and who saw through the company's growth in turnover from 61 million in 1991 to 545 million in 2003 is retiring from the post and remains in the company supervisory board.

Here is a remark from Mr. Nosek, the chairman of the supervisory board, on the nomination of Mr. Sramek:

The selection of the new director included candidates from within the company as well as without. After discussion in the board we have decided to nominate our college Mr. Sramek who has working experience from the supervisory board and who is also one of the shareholders. The company has a number of talented managers and the first move of the new director will be an extension of the top management so that the company can profit from this potential.

PLASTIKA a.s. Kromeriz provides moulded plastic products, mainly complete PC keyboards, prefabricated parts for car industry and office technology. Plastika also provides plastic road marker posts for a number of Europe countries. In 2003 the company turnover was 545 million CZK and the economic result was 31 million CZK. PLASTIKA a.s. was established in 1956 as a cooperative society of the handicapped, in 2003 it was transformed into a joint-stock company and taken over by the company SPV int. a.s. which took over its capital, commercial activities and trade name. As yet, more than a half of the employees have reduced working ability and in 2003 the company has created several new job positions. It also planes similar growth for 2004.

Mr. Stanislav Sramek was nominated as the new company managing director of PLASTIKA a.s.
